Meet Lauryn Olin
Shop Manager

Lauryn Olin did not just land at Southeast Mechanical, she grew up there. She started working in the office alongside Stacey when she was just 15 years old and has spent the years since working her way up into one of the most hands on roles in the company. Five years as Shop Manager and counting.

On any given day you might find Lauryn running one of SEM's plasma cutting tables, welding, or making sure the shop is organized and ready for whatever comes next. Her role is to keep the shop operating smoothly, jobs moving on schedule, and quality staying right where it needs to be. Her coworkers would tell you she gets things done efficiently and quickly without ever letting the standard slip. That combination of speed and quality is not easy to find, and it is exactly what the shop depends on every single day.

What Lauryn loves most about her work is the creativity some jobs require and the satisfaction of seeing a finished product that makes a customer's operation run better. That is what she shows up for.

When she is not at the shop, Lauryn teaches a gym class three nights a week and spends her time at the river and the beach. Not bad for someone who also keeps an entire fabrication shop running.
