Frequently Asked Questions

We get a lot of the same questions. Here are the answers. If you do not see what you are looking for just give us a call or send us a message and we will get back to you quickly.

General Questions

  • We provide process piping, structural fabrication, plasma cutting, equipment fabrication, hydraulic hose fabrication, hydraulic system cleaning, fabrication technologies, and industrial inventory and supply.

  • Primarily steel mills, manufacturing facilities, and heavy industrial operations. If your facility needs piping, fabrication, or hydraulic services we are worth a call.

  • Yes. We handle everything from single custom parts and walk in hose builds to large scale industrial piping systems and shutdown work.

  • Yes. We regularly support planned shutdowns and emergency outages where timing is critical and work has to be completed within a tight window.

Process and Projects

  • Both. We can build from your drawings or help you develop a solution from scratch depending on what the project calls for.

  • Yes. We have a full in house fabrication shop and also send crews to client facilities for field installation. We do both.

  • It depends on the scope. A plasma cut part can be same day. A large piping installation might take weeks. Call us and we will give you a straight answer based on what you actually need.

  • Yes. We provide a one year warranty on all projects.

  • Yes. We regularly mobilize crews to client facilities across the East Coast and into Central America. We are used to working in demanding industrial environments on tight schedules. If you are not sure whether we cover your area just give us a call.

Hydraulic Hose Services

  • Yes. If we have the materials and fittings in stock we can build your hose the same day, often while you wait.

  • Absolutely. Bring in your existing hose, a photo, a drawing, or just describe what you need. We will figure it out and build it.

  • Custom hydraulic hose assemblies for industrial equipment, heavy machinery, and facility systems. We build to your exact specifications.

  • Up to 5,000 PSI.

  • Buying a cheap hose that does not hold up to the actual operating conditions. Pressure, heat, and abrasion all affect hose life. We use quality components only because a hose failure always costs more than the hose itself.

Hydraulic System Cleaning

  • After a new installation, after a major component failure, when contamination is present, when changing oil types, or during scheduled maintenance intervals to protect equipment and extend system life.

  • Contaminated hydraulic fluid causes pressure loss, overheating, accelerated component wear, and eventually full system failure. The cost of a flush is almost always less than the cost of a contamination related failure.

  • Typically within a couple of days. For planned shutdowns we coordinate in advance so we are ready to go the moment your window opens.

Materials and Inventory

  • Pipe from 1/4" to 10" in carbon steel and stainless, fittings from 1/2" to 10", brass valves from 1/4" to 4", gaskets from 1/2" to 16", and a range of structural components.

  • We can source most parts fast. Most specialty items are available next day through our supplier network.

  • Yes. If you need something cut to size or prepped before you pick it up just ask.

Careers

  • Yes. We are actively looking for pipe fitters and pipe welders.

  • Pipe welders range from $15 to $32 per hour depending on experience.

  • Most of our training is hands on and in the field. You learn by doing real work on real jobs.

  • Some projects require certified welders depending on the job requirements.

  • Most days are 10 hour shifts either in the shop or at a job site. There are opportunities for overtime especially during shutdowns and outages.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
